Since the rest of the documentation needs a definition of \xPROJECTNAME (∖xMyAlps) where PROJECTNAME should be replaced by the value of the variable PROJECTNAME from the file Makefile.def.nw, it is best to use ∖xnamedef from allprose.sty.nw.
